JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On Thursday, an armed robbery occurred at the BB&T bank on San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin. Police believe that this is another robbery in a string of serial robberies and they are looking for assistance in identifying the suspect.

Police are seeking the suspect in four separate armed bank robberies during the time frame of May 18 and June 16.

  • 06/16/2017 – BB&T Bank located at 11331 San Jose Boulevard
  • 06/07/2017 – Bank of America located at 13170 Atlantic Boulevard
  • 05/25/2017 – First Florida Credit Union located at 4530 St Johns Avenue
  • 05/18/2017 – Atlantic Coast Federal Bank located at 8048 Normandy Boulevard

Police say that during each incident, the suspect enters the business wearing a hat and sunglasses and approaches the teller before pulling out a semi-automatic handgun and making demands for money. Once he received the money he flees on foot.
