ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. - Residents in parts of St. Johns County will be under a curfew in preparation for Hurricane Matthew.

The curfew will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m. on Friday.

The City of St. Augustine Beach, the City of St. Augustine and portions of St. Johns County lying east of the Intracoastal Waterway on the barrier islands will impacted by this curfew.

The curfew will be used on a nightly basis until further notice, St. Johns County Emergency Management said.
