The Suwanee Fire and Rescue Department (SFRD) responded to a structure fire at the Baler Twine Company in Live Oak on Wednesday.
SFRD received reports of flames coming through the roof of a building at 4:00 a.m. on Hwy 129.
Crews battled the fire for more than five hours until it was brought under control. At 9 a.m. firefighters were pulling the roof off the building to extinguish the remaining hot spots.
SFRD says to expect delays in the area as firefighters put out the rest of the blaze.
