Karen Lincomfelt, Calvin Lincomfelt's wife, posted to Facebook Sunday that Calvin was found safe.
According to the Ormond Beach Police, Lincomfelt was found Sunday in Hollywood, Florida.
The Ormond Beach Police Department was searching for 44-year-old Calvin Lincomfelt of Jacksonville, Florida.
According to police, Lincomfelt was doing gutter work in Edgewater, Florida but was reported missing after he failed to return home to Jacksonville. Police say Lincomfelt was last seen purchasing food at the McDonald's on U.S. 1.
“I don’t want to eat, I don’t want to sleep, I don’t want to do anything," Calvin's wife, Karen, told First Coast News. "And I feel like no matter what I do, it’s not good enough because we haven’t found him yet.”
The couple have been married 21 years and have two children, 18-year-old Chasten and 20-year-old Cali.
Monday, August 7, the day Calvin disappeared, was Cali's birthday.
“He’s such a good dad and he and I have such a good relationship that it’s just unlike Calvin," Lincomfelt said.
Lincomfelt said an Ormond Beach detective told her Calvin's phone was last on Monday night near Phillips Highway and Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville. That's under three miles away from the Lincomfelt house.
According to the Ormond Beach Police missing persons report, police checked hospitals, jails and hotels in Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns and Duval counties but have not found Calvin.
The family distributed hundreds of flyers to restaurants and businesses.
“We’ve been to ranger stations so they could pass it out to look in the woods," Lincomfelt said. "We’ve been to the coast and let the lifeguard stations have this [flyer] so they could get it down their whole coast.”
Karen worried one of Calvin's best qualities, his desire to help others, put him in danger.
“I’m almost feeling like he went to help somebody and they may have done something. I don’t know…because he’s just that way," she said.
Lincomfelt was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and was driving a 2004 red in color, GMC Sierra Crew Cab, bearing North Carolina Tag #FJ5026.
