After widespread damage throughout the area of St. Simons Island in Glynn County, Ga., residents will reportedly be allowed reentry to their homes Tuesday beginning at noon.

Residents must prove they live in the area and show valid ID. The area is still considered somewhat dangerous.

This is phase three of reentry protocol for the county. Residents were under a mandatory evacuation order since last week and have been unable to get back to their homes.

A boil-water advisory is still in effect for all residents on the island. As soon as that order is lifted, we will update this post.
