A Marion County teacher is out on bond Wednesday after he was accused of sexually assaulting a female student he used to teach.
Thirty-year-old Jason Tarlton worked at Lake Weir High School. Detectives said they found explicit photos of him and the 17-year-old girl taken in a hotel room.
The victim told police she accidentally uploaded the photos from her phone to an app called "After School." Another student noticed the pictures and told a resource officer, leading to Tarlton's arrest.
Last year, a substitute teacher at the same high school was arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching students.
