Deputies responded to a triple shooting Sunday at in Baker County, according to the sheriff's office's Facebook page.

Deputies and emergency personnel responded to the scene at S9368 South CR 125 in Glen St. Mary after receiving a call that shots were fired around 4 a.m Sunday.

BCSO reported that while en route, police encountered a vehicle speeding away from the scene.

After stopping the vehicle, they found several individuals inside, three of whom had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.

Deputies administered first aid on-site then transported the injured individuals to Shands Hospital via ambulance.

The scene of the shooting was shortly secured and is currently under investigation, along with the vehicle stopped by deputies.

This investigation into the incident is ongoing and no further details are available at this time. BCSO expects to have more information Monday.
