PALM COAST, Fla. -- Following a brawl at a Girl Scout cookie stand in Palm Coast recently an anonymous donor is helping out Girl Scout Troop 1527.

Back on Saturday, February 25, 2017, witnesses told deputies that two teens, one 18 and one 16, confronted the Girl Scouts in an attempt to retrieve money owed to their family. When the Girl Scouts wouldn’t give the teens money or cookies in exchange for the debt, the two became angry, knocking cookies off the table and fighting with people near the Girl Scout table.

On Thursday at 3:30 p.m., Sheriff Rick Staly plans to present the anonymous donation to the Girl Scout Troop
to help them recoup a loss of nearly $200 in cookies and supplies from the incident.
