Lindsey Boetsch is excited to be living and working in the Sunshine State. She joined the First Coast News Team as a multimedia journalist April Fools Day 2013... No joke. She comes from KHQA in Quincy, Illinois where she wore many hats.

She started as a week day reporter and producer and weekend weather anchor. From there she was moved to morning show live reporter and moved up to morning anchor. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, this city girl was allowed to try new things like milk a cow, shoot a bow and arrow, and attended her first rodeo.

She covered one of the worst winter storms on record in Quincy, the Blizzard of 2011. The city saw 22 inches of snow in two days. She also traveled to Joplin, Missouri three months after the deadly tornado hit the town.

Lindsey is a graduate of Illinois State University. There she won the TV-10 Founder's Award which is given to the senior who excels in broadcasting.

She has a cute little pug named Daisy who moved here from Illinois with her. Lindsey is happy to trade her snow boots for a beach umbrella and looks forward to not being bundled up in 10 layers of clothes this winter.
