A Home Depot on the Westside reopened after it temporarily evacuated due to a reported bomb threat Tuesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO said the bomb threat was reported at 855 Lane Ave. S.
The store decided to evacuate customers as a precaution, JSO said. It reopened a little after 11 a.m.
A representative for Home Depot had this to say about the incident:
"The store is back open to associates and customers. No one was injured during the evacuation. Law enforcement will need to answer your question about the origin/method of the threat."
