Five people were shot Monday in Alachua, including at least two children, according to media reports.
Among the victims were three adults and two children. Two of the adults and the two children are in stable condition, however, one adult is listed to still be in critical condition.
The shooting took place near 156th Place and North Main Street. Authorities said it was a drive-by shooting.
According to a Facebook post by the Alachua Police Department, police believe that the incident is related to a shooting and homicide that occurred on Sunday, January 14.There are still no suspects at this time.
