JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a person was shot and killed in northwest Jacksonville Tuesday night.

The shooting happened before 10:00 p.m. on the 5100 block of Shenandoah Avenue.

Police said when they arrived, they found two people who were shot. One person was unresponsive, and the other had non-life threatening injuries.

Police say 23-year-old Terry Gibson was unresponsive was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both victims are in their mid-20's, but their identities have not been released.

Investigators said a person of interest and witnesses are being interviewed.
