A missing man was found dead in the McCoy Creek near the Brooklyn area Sunday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Chelsea Street at around 12 p.m. after a kayaker found the body of 28-year-old Jack Wynn and pulled him to shore.
JSO said they are in the early stages of their investigation but said no foul play is suspected.
Wynn was reported missing after he was last seen in the downtown area on Monday.
