Police were called to Faye Road and Eastport Road around 2 a.m. on Wednesday in response to someone shot.
When they arrived police found a man who had been shot at least once in the chest while he was at a house in the 2000 block of Faye Road. The victim called 911 and drove to the intersection where they found him, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Fire and Rescue took the man to a local hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. There is no suspect information at this time.
