Police searching for teen connected to shooting on St. Johns Bluff Road

The suspect is described as being between 14-19 years old, 5’6”, with dreads, a red shirt, and blue or black jeans.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect accused of shooting a man during an argument on St. Johns Bluff Road Thursday afternoon.

JSO responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of St. Johns Bluff Road around 1:30 p.m.

Witnesses on scene told police that a young boy got into an argument with a man in the parking lot. 

During the argument, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim one time in the shoulder, police said.

The suspect then left the scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

JSO said the suspect is described as being between 14-19 years old, 5’6”, with dreads, a red shirt, and blue or black jeans.
