Flags to fly at half-staff to honor victims of the Florida high school shooting

An American flag flies at half-mast after the tragedy in Las Vegas on 10/1/2017.

Governor Rick Scott has ordered all flags to fly at half-staff to honor the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting.

A former student opened fire with a semiautomatic rifle at a Florida high school Wednesday, killing at least 17 people and sending scores of students fleeing into the streets.

"This is just absolutely pure evil," Gov. Rick Scott said Wednesday night.
