JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Saturday night in the Hyde Park area.
Just after 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 1500 block of Lane Avenue South. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive male victim with a gunshot wound, according to the JSO.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene, police said.
The JSO Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit are both investigating the shooting.
