ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The disaster cleanup and restoration business Servpro is offering temporary jobs to help handle the amount of needs being seen in St. Johns County after Hurricane Matthew.

Applications for laborers are currently being accepted in the parking lot of the St. Johns County Public Library located in St. Augustine at 1960 N Ponce De Leon Blvd. The staffing company will be accepting applications until 5 p.m. on Monday night. There are no background requirements.

The pay is $12 per hour and there could be as much as five weeks worth of work. The work schedule will be Monday thru Sunday, with pay on Friday of the following week.

Servpro of Greater St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach, Fla. specialize in the cleanup and restoration of both residential and commercial properties that are dealing with fire, smoke and water damage. They also offer duct cleaning, biohazard cleanup and hard surface cleaning.

The Tennessee based company is Water Damage Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying Technician certified.
