JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Tens of thousands of people are heading to the beaches this weekend for Florida's largest Oktoberfest.

The event features a variety of beer, live music, food trucks, and more. Before the festivities kick off Saturday, organizers are also hosting the Jax Beach Fall Cleanup, the largest beach clean up of the year.

The event couldn't have come at a better time, a week after Hurricane Matthew, trash and debris line the shore. Hundreds of volunteers are expected to help clean it up and restore its beauty.

The event starts at 11 a.m. Saturday and goes until 1 p.m.; Oktoberfest officially starts from 1 p.m.- 10 p.m. Saturday, then 1 p.m.- 8 p.m. Sunday.
