No one was injured after an Allegiant Air flight made an emergency landing at Jacksonville International Airport Wednesday afternoon.

The plane was en route to Orlando, Fla. from North Dakota, and all passengers and crew - 154 people - were safe.

Pilots reported a mechanical issue on the plane around 3 p.m.

Passengers were forced to wait for a backup plane to take them to Orlando, says Debbie Jones of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority.

Jones says no more information is available.
