On Thursday morning, Kingsland police arrested a woman they said drove drunk, and ran into a ditch, with two young kids in the backseat.

An unidentified 16 year old girl stopped to help, and the woman, Lauren Wilder, punched her in the face. The teenager's mom, who wanted to remain anonymous, called the police when her daughter came home with a black eye. When she got to the scene, she told the dispatcher the drunk driver left the scene.

Caller: "The woman who came and let this drunk woman drive away in her car. There are kids in the car, and the car is wrecked in the ditch."

Dispatcher: "She left in a gold Toyota Highlander, circling around Woodhaven?"

Caller: "Yes, and she's drunk."

In the 911 call, the woman tells police wilder took the kids with her.

From the records we found, Wilder has been in trouble with law enforcement in Duval, Nassau, and Camden counties. Crimes like burglary, grand theft, domestic disputes and drugs, going all the way back from 2003, including DUI's in 2011 and 2017. She just got off probation from a DUI conviction in September.

When we checked her driver's license, it was still valid.

911: "what kind of car is in the ditch?

Caller: "It's a white honda accord"

First Coast News tried going to Wilder's last known address and parked outside was a damaged white Honda Accord.

She's still in the Camden County Jail, with charges of hit and run, DUI, endangering children, and battery.
