A new $77 million resort is planned for Jacksonville Beach between 6th Avenue North and 7th Avenue North.

Preliminary renderings show a grand building with spaces for restaurants, retail stores, pool, parking and resort rooms. The preliminary designs were completed in September and released to First Coast News Wednesday.

The project is called Atlantis. The main photo attached from this photo shows the ocean view.

Jeff Klotz, CEO of Just Multifamily, the company building the project, says they hope to break ground later this year if and when the permit is granted.

The project is expected to take 14 months from start to finish.
