JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - If you're looking for a job and you love baseball, listen up! The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp is planning to hire temporary workers for this year's season.
The team is hosting two job fairs at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville next month: Saturday, March 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday, March 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. They are hoping to fill several seasonal game-day positions during their 70 at-home games.
Positions the team is trying to fill include: Game day ticket seller, kids zone attendant, merchandise store employee, promotions team, fan experience representatives, game day clean team, bat boy and ID checker.
