On Jan. 9, Hobnob Food & Social Exchange announced it will be closing the dine-in restaurant and only continue as a venue for corporate events, private events and group meetings.

“This was a very difficult decision but ultimately the best option as a business,” said the release. “We are very proud of the restaurant we built, and hope that Hobnob will continue to contribute to the growth of the Brooklyn/Riverside area.”

The company is offering 10 percent off any new event booked in the month of January for groups of 20 or more in an effort to attract customers.
