JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville natives know this already. Our city is really cool -- from local craft beers to year-round rooftop bars, Jacksonville just can't be beaten.

Well, now other people are starting to take notice. Food and Wine wrote an article praising Jacksonville for its culinary treats.

"Turns out, Jacksonville's outsider status, and the relatively low cost of living here, has made it a natural fit for a stream of doers and makers, for creative, often quite young entrepreneurs either attracted here for the very first time, or lured back home by the promise of change," the website wrote.

Here are some of the restaurants and bars mentioned in the article:

Town Hall

Gilbert's Social

Bellwether

Community Loaves

Rue St. Marc

Vagabond Coffee

B Street Eats

The newest, hottest rooftops bars River and Post and Cowford House also get a nod. What is your favorite thing about Jacksonville?
