A teacher and part-time law enforcement officer from Ware County, Georgia is facing charges for allegedly soliciting a 16-year-old boy for sex.
The Camden County Sheriff Office says they were called to Waterfront Park in Woodbine by the mother of the teenager, who says her son left their home and would not fully explain why.
The sheriff's office says Tracy Wayne Crosby, 42, drove the boy to the park, where the mother says she found her son having a sex with Crosby.
Police say Crosby solicited the teen and has been charged with one count of solicitation of Sodomy. Police say further charges may be pending.
Crosby has been placed on administrative leave from his teaching position at Ware County High School and the school district says they are cooperating with police in the investigation.
Crosby is a resident of Waycross.
