JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A woman was sentenced Friday to a total of 30 years in prison on four counts of child neglect for allegedly allowing men to touch a six-year-old child inappropriately.
Dalina Nicholas, 37, pleaded guilty to the charges in January, according to a release from the State Attorney's Office. Nicholas was first investigated in March 2012 for allegedly trying to sell her daughter.
A homeless man reported to a Jacksonville Beach Police Officer that Nicholas' addiction to crack cocaine impaired her ability to watch the six-year-old child and thereby allowed Norman Thompson and John Hagans to inappropriately touch the child, the release detailed.
Thompson and Hagans were sentenced to life in prison for Capital Sexual Battery after Nicholas testified against them.
