JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- John Smith of Sports Mania said he's been selling Florida and Georgia gear for this huge match-up for the past 40 years.
His tent right across the street from RV City, is decked out with Gator flags flying proudly and goodies for Bulldog fans as well.
Some enthusiastic Georgia fans were inside, ready to rumble.
Smith, a former gator himself, said his merchandise is not flying off the shelves this year like it has in the past.
He blames that partly on both teams headed into this game with four wins and three losses.
"Now you've got two watered down teams with three losses a piece. Somebody's going to get a fourth loss, which is not good and water is on the way," he said.
He said the wet weather predicted for early Saturday could also put a damper on sales.
Still, the fans on Thursday say rain or shine, whether things are good, bad or ugly, they'll be there to watch their team
